LinkedIn hits 259 million active members and revenue of $393 million

published its earnings report for third quarter of the year. They accounted the revenue of 393 million US dollars. There are now 259 million active members which were 238 million previous quarter thus leaving Twitter behind which had 230 million active users this quarter. Thought they are still behind Google+ and which are at 300 million and 1.15 billion (June quarter reports) respectively.

Talent solutions accounted for $224.7 million out of $393 million while rest was made up by Marketing solutions and Premium Subscriptions which were $88.5 million and$79.8 million respectively. Earnings per share rose to 39 per cent which were at 31 last quarters. Earnings per share were $0.39 which was higher than Wall Street whose earnings per share were $0.32 from revenue of $384.5 million. If we take a look at share value of LinkedIn a year back then we will see that it was almost double in a year now accounting for $250 per share.

According to Jeff Weiner, CEO of LinkedIn result for this achievement is the increased member growth and engagement. He also said that, they will continue to deliver value to professionals through investment in core products and strategic initiatives such as mobile, students and the professional publishing platform.

According to the reports, social networks are responsible for extreme growth as every second two new members join the community. Now LinkedIn expects revenue of $415-420 million in next fourth Quarter.

Recently LG launched its G2 flagship device which featured its entire buttons at back. LG took its chances there and surprisingly people liked it a lot. I am too impressed with its design. But company don’t want to stop here so they released G Pro Lite Dual SIM Phablet in India.

Most of the time we get the stuff at same time but there are times when data is too large and it takes too much time. One can’t sit beside system and wait. So today we will provide you a quick and easy guide to schedule your computer for auto shut down.

The guide we gave in previous article was to shut down your computer after torrent download completes. But this method is pretty different here we will use software named shutdown timer which you can download from here.

This will help you to save a lot of electricity too. So I better recommend you to use it. All you need to do is set the time after which you want your system to shut down and it just do all the process.

As we know Microsoft released Windows 8.1 which you can update by following these simple steps. I also tried this but my internet speed is 1MBPS and if I download update then it will take continuous 3 days to download that 3.67GB so we all prefer to use Torrents.

Using torrent is simple and easy but we can’t just sit beside system and wait for the file to be downloaded so that we can turn the computer off. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX Tablets: Features And Release Dates

Amazon announced its new Kindle Fire HDX tablet line up running on Amazon’s customised Fire 3.0 OS UI based on Android Jelly Bean. Company showcased two tablets which come in 7 and 8.9 inch screen sizes. These tablets support a first ever online video Tech support from Amazon at any time and they have named this feature as “MAYDAY”.

Amazon announces new Kindle Fire HDX Tablets

Both the tablets are powered by 2.2 GHz Snapdragon 800 processor with 2GB of RAM. Both the tablets are offered in 16/32/64GB storage variants. Amazon claims that both the tablets can run for 11 hours with mixed usage.

Let me guess you may be saving it to your computer’s hard drive by transferring it via USB cable or you may be using some wireless transfer apps like AirDroid for Android phones and more for other.

But these methods are also old now. Because your PC’s hard drive may crash some day or you are out of country or town and you need that stuff immediately. You need not to worry we have solution for that too.
