Leaked Photos Of iPhone 5S Appear Online

There were rumors about Apple planning to release an iPhone 5S later this year and now a Chinese website has posted some leaked photos of the rumored iPhone to back that up. The website posted a series of pictures showing the dimensions and design of the upcoming Apple device in various stages of production and are allegedly taken at Foxconn’s facility in China.

iPhone 5S leaked images

The leaked pictures show a pre-production version of the rumored iPhone 5S which gives us a pretty good idea of how the device is going to look like. Apple followed the iPhone 5’s design for the upcoming device with the same taller screen. According to the post, iPhone 5S will offer a minor update from the previous phone while the iPhone 6 will feature a trendy 5-inch screen.

leaked iPhone 5S image

Earlier rumors about iPhone 5S said that the upcoming device will feature a better processor, an improved camera with powerful LED flash, fingerprint sensor and color options like the latest iPod Touch. Sharp displayed its IGZO display at the CES 2013 recently in a 32-inch 4K monitor and we are expecting to see this technology in the upcoming iPhone. HTC and Sony have already unveiled their flagship smartphones with full-HD displays and Apple is also planning to feature full-HD screen in the next iPhone.

leaked iPhone 5S images

Apple recently announced a 128GB iPad so we are also expecting to see a storage bump in the iPhone 5S. According to another Chinese website, the successor to the popular iPhone 5 will be cheaper but stockier and will be available in attractive six colors. Foxconn is usually known for its top security within its manufacturing area and there is no way to confirm if the images are real or not. However, the rumor mill managed to predict almost everything perfectly last time before the release of iPhone 5 so there’s a fifty-fifty chance of these rumors coming true.

Apple is refusing to comment on these rumors as usual and according to a report by Business Insider, the next iPhone will go into production next month and will be unveiled in June. We know that the last two iPhones were released at the end of the year but it’s also true that both the iPhone 3G and the iPhone 4 were released in mid-year so we can expect to see the next iPhone in June.

Sharegate: A Sharepoint Migration Tool for No Brainers

People usually avoid the idea of content migration when shifting to a new version of SharePoint or when getting on board with it because of the problematic process. If you are also among these people and is thinking about migrate content with SharePoint manually, Sharegate is just what you are looking for. Let’s see if this SharePoint migration tool can really help us or not.

sharepoint

What is Sharegate?

Sharegate is a software that can help you with SharePoint migration and classification easily with a set of tools. It doesn’t require any server installation and supports Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows Server 2003/2008.

What Sharegate has to offer

Sharegate offers a 15 days free trial and an option to purchase the full version. You will see 2 different file inside downloads section, a quick installer and an offline installation. Before you install Sharegate, make sure .Net Framework 4.0 is installed in your PC to complete the installation process quickly. Sharegate also offers some optional downloads as extension, server extension and sandbox server extension.

 1

The first thing I loved about Sharegate is it doesn’t require any agent for working on servers. You can do your work without installing any software on servers. There is only one limitation with the trial version, it supports copying only 5 items at a time. Sharegate supports 8 versions of SharePoint, SharePoint 2003, SharePoint 2007, Microsoft Offfice SharePoint Server, SharePoint Foundation 2010, Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010, Office 365, BPOS and SharePoint 2013.

2

If you want to connect to Office 365 or SharePoint online, you have to select the manual authentication mode. You can directly migrate to SharePoint 2010 or 2013 from SharePoint 2003 or SharePoint 2007. People who want to maintain the version history when migrating has to check the “Preserve version history” when creating a new property template.

3

There is a map properties available for the destination lists/libraries and source which can help you to map your sources easily. It’s a great feature for consolidating lists and libraries. You can also copy permissions and version history and also create your own template so when you have different sites with the same idea, you can use your custom copy template everytime. I didn’t find any major negative side of this tool and you can try the trial version of Sharegate before purchasing the full version.

Verdict

Sharegate calls itself a no brainer migration tool for SharePoint and I must say, it’s a great tool for SharePoint structure and content migration.

Sony Announces Xperia Tablet Z: A 10.1 Inch Waterproof Ultra Thin Tablet

Sony announced the Xperia Z smartphone at the CES recently and now its cousin, the Xperia Tablet Z has been officially announced today. The company is not very influential in the tablet market but looks like they are ready to compete with iPad with its new 10.1-inch waterproof tablet. Sony and NTT Docomo (Japanese carrier) was planning to announce the tablet on January 22 but Docomo accidentally leaked the tablet details on its website and Blog of Mobile, a popular Japanese gadget site reported the leak instantly.

tablet z

Thinner than the iPad Mini

Just like its smartphone cousin, the Xperia Tablet Z is waterproof and can stay alive under 3 feet of liquid. The tablet comes with a stunning 6.9mm thickness which is thinner than the latest iPad Mini (7.2mm thick). Sony’s Xperia S tablet was also a good looking tablet but its price tag failed to compete with the cheaper alternatives.

Specs

The specs of the tablet are also as amazing as the outside of the device. The tablet features a 1080p screen, a Qualcomm 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon chip, 32GB of internal storage, 2GB of RAM, NFC and LTE support. The big 1080p screen comes with Sony’s Mobile Bravia Engine for adding attractive vibrancy and color depth to screen. Like its smartphone cousin, the tablet features an 8.1-megapixel camera with Exmor R technology.

It’s really amazing how this tablet is waterproof, features 8.1-megapixel camera with the Exmor R technology, quad-core chip and 2GB of RAM and is still only 6.9mm thick. It’s the thinnest tablet available so far and is both dust and water-proof. This super thick tablet also features S-Force virtual surround sound system. You can access to your PC games via your home wireless network and then Tegra 4 will decode the high quality video and let you play your PC games smoothly. Physical keys will rise up from the screen on demand and then disappear when it’s not required. However, users will be able to sense touch but not the sense of being pressed.

Because this refrigerator comes with a big LCD display and Android OS. Now you can enjoy social networking, playing games and Evernote integration right in your refrigerator. The company didn’t reveal its price and launch date yet.

Cookoo Watch

cookoo

We’ve seen smart watches before but Cookoo is slightly different. This smart watch can receive signals via Bluetooth from your cell phone and alert you for calls, calendar reminders, low battery and Facebook notifications. The phone runs for a year using a standard button-cell battery unlike other smart watches.

You can order this watch from Cookoo’s website for $130 or grab one from AT&T’s flagship store in Chicago. However, if you want to talk or check Facebook updates directly using your watches, this one is not for you.

Sony Announces Xperia Z: A Waterproof Galaxy S3 Killer

Sony’s new flagship Android device is here! The company introduced its latest Xperia device at Sony’s CES press conference yesterday. Taking a look at the feature, it can surely be termed as a rival to Samsung Galaxy S3 and iPhone 5. The new smartphone comes with some incredible features like 1080p reality display, 13-megapixel camera and is water-resistant. It’s not really a phone that you can take with you when you are swimming but it surely is going to survive if you spill a bottle of water on it.

Sony Xperia Z Waterproof

5-inch Screen and 13-MP Camera

The big 5-inch screen is capable of showing full-1080p “reality” display. The smartphone also features a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor to provide smooth Jelly Bean performance and a 13-megapixel camera packed with Sony’s latest Exmor RS sensor. Sony used their Exmor RS sensor for the first time in a smartphone and we are expecting to see improved low-light performance. The front-facing camera also comes with Exmor R sensor.

Once you are done recording or capturing pictures, you can see them in its 5-inch TFT Reality Display that packs the Bravia Mobile Engine 2 for augmenting colors and contrast on the clips. So, if you are thinking about watching movies or your recorded video clips, you are going to love the sharp display at 443 ppi. And the best thing here is, the smartphone is only 7.9 millimeters thick.

Sony UI

The latest flagship device by Sony features a lightweight Sony UI. All the ugly widget animations we saw before in previous Xperia devices are now slightly better and the company is not even going to name the UI.

Battery Life

Sony didn’t reveal much about the smartphone’s battery life in the press conference but there is a feature to improve its standby time called “stamina” mode. This mode can automatically shut down all your battery-draining apps and can also bring them back when you turn on your screen. When the mode is active, the standard calling feature and SMS is the only thing that will work.

Operating System and Other Features

The smartphone will be packed with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean (not the upcoming Android 4.2 version). However, the company will offer upgrades to 4.2 later. It also features 2GB RAM and the latest NFC (near-field communication) technology.
