How to install Apps in your Android Smartphone without any Internet Data Package
Android Operating System, which is currently the most famous and grossing operating system, has a major feature that it, allows you to download and install third-party apps too. But by default, the use of unknown source applications is disabled in all Android devices because the company doesn’t want us to install the apps other than from the Android market. But you can easily enable it by following some simple steps (Described below in the tutorial). This capability of Android devices to accept third-party is quite useful in many ways. This feature allows you to download the APK files of the apps on your computer and then you can transfer them in your Smartphone and can install it.
This is helpful for those people, who prefer using computers to download apps instead of their Smartphones due to expensive and slow internet data packages. Step 1: Get the APK file in your Computer:

Step 2: Install the App in your Smartphone:
To install the app using an APK file, you’ll need to allow your Android device to accept apps from Unknown Sources. For this, go to Settings>Applications and check the Unknown Source checkbox. Now, there are two methods of installing an App in a Smartphone by using APK file. Both the methods are explained below:
Method 1: By transferring APK file in your Android device’s memory:
- Connect your Android device with your computer via USB drive or any other mean you prefer.
- Now transfer the APK file from your computer to your device.
- After complete transfer, you can disconnect your device with your computer.
- Now using the file manager, find the APK file you transferred in 2nd step from your device.
- Tap on the APK file to install it.
Method 2: Using Android SDK and Android USB Drivers:
- Download the both and Android USB Drives on your computer.
- Connect the SDK in your computer with you Smartphone using USB drives.
- Now go to Settings>SD Card>Phone Storage and uncheck the USB Storage checkbox.
- Now in your computer, open the Command Prompt and type the following command:
adb install/
In the above command, instead of type the path to the APK files and instead of.apk type the name of the APK file. - Now it’s done! The app is installed in your Smartphone.

Mouse Functions:

How To Activate USB Debugging Mode In Nexus 7 2013
If you want to root your Nexus 7, one of the main prerequisite is to enable the USB debugging mode. If you don’t have USB debugging mode activated, you might see an error like this when you try to reboot bootloader:

How to activate USB debugging mode in Nexus 7 2013:
While I performed this quick tutorial in Nexus 7 2013 WiFi model running Android Kitkat, I think similar steps can be performed on other Android devices as well. To activate USB debugging mode in Nexus 7, follow the steps below:
- In your Nexus 7, go to Settings->About Tablet->Build Number
- Tap 7 times on the build number. This will enable the Developer option
- Go back to the main screen of Settings. Move to the bottom and look for Developer Options.
- In Developer Options, move down a bit to find USB Debugging option. Check it to activate it.
That’s all you had to do to activate USB debugging mode in Nexus 7 2013. Next time you connect to your computer you’ll prompted with a message about allowing USB debugging with the connected computer. If it is your own computer, check on Always allow to avoid future prompting of this message.

How To Unlock Nexus 5 Bootloader
The new Nexus 5 has arrived in the market and many will be getting this ultimate device in their hands very soon. And one the first thing to enter in most people’s minds must be unlocking the Bootloader because the Nexus 5 comes with locked Bootloader. - Now download the Fastboot and extract it in android-sdk-windowsplatform-tools directory. (Create the directory if it’s not there).
- Switch Off your Nexus 5 and access the reboot mode by pressing the Volume up + Volume down + Power Keys for a while. Some text and Start will appear on the screen when your device enters the reboot mode.
- Now navigate to android-sdk-windowsplatform-tools directory and open the Command Prompt. Type the following command and press enter.
fastboot oem unlock
- Now just simply follow the instructions on the screen of your device. Confirm the Bootloader Unlocking and erase all the data.
- After following all the instructions, your Nexus 5 will reboot itself. If not, you can reboot your Nexus 5 by entering the following command in the Command Prompt.
fastboot reboot
If the unlocking process went correctly, you would be able to unlock Nexus 5 bootloader. Now your device is ready for rooting and installation of custom recovery and ROM.
