Close All is a free Windows-based application which allows to close running applications all together with just a single click. It thus saves a lot of time as without this one will have to close all the applications one by one which is cumbersome. It also comes handy when you want to close all other applications excluding some. This may not be one of the must have software in Windows 7 but it certainly one of those which eases your daily tasks and help you run your computer in a better manner.

All you need to do is just create quick shortcut or quick launch button or any other place from where you can access it easily and quickly. Then you just need to click on the application icon and watch the whole magic.

How to use Close All:

• Download the Zip file provided at the end of the article.
• Extract the file.

• After extracting file you will see Close All application. If you click on that it will close all applications.
• Now you can create a quick launch or shortcut on desktop.
• For the second part right-click on “Close All” application then go to “send to” and select “Create short cut (Desktop)”

• You can create a quick launch application for that you just need to drag the application to the task bar and that’s it.

How to Exclude Some Applications From Close All:

Close All comes in handy when you don’t want to close a particular application which you use a lot like for example: Winamp or Google Chrome. So there are some setting you need to perform before it could do that magic below are the instructions for that.

Instructions:

• Right Click on the application and click on the properties option.

• Navigate to short cut tab.

• Now add -x=”app-to-exclude.exe” in target. to separate multiple applications just use “|”. For example: -x=”winamp.exe|chrome.exe”
• Now click “OK” to save the changes. You can edit the changes afterwards too according to your needs.
