Hide It Pro: Hide all of your Personal Data on your Android Devcie

Let me start by saying that privacy is the most important thing for an individual. We try our best to keep our personal data and information away from the eyes of others. On the other hand, we’re talking about android which is the leading Operating System today with over 850,000 applications and 48 billion downloads. Android Operating System scans all of your data like images and videos from you file manager and show it all in the Gallery. And anyone can see your gallery and so our images and videos. So where’s the privacy?

In this article, I’ll be showing you all that how can you hide not only your personal images and videos but also applications, messages and calls in your Android device. For this we’ll be using a third-party application “Hide It Pro” from the Google Play Store which allows you to hide all of your personal data easily and very cleverly. Hide It Pro is like another galley in your device which is accessible by only you. Others can’t even find this gallery.

Below is the proper guide of using “Hide It Pro”:

Setting Up:

Download the Hide It Pro from the and Install it.
After complete installation, you’ll see an “Audio Manager” icon in your drawer. Now you must be wondering that you didn’t download the Audio Manager. It should be Hide It Pro. Here’s the clever part comes, the actual Hide It Pro app is disguised behind this fully functional Audio Manager.
Launch the Audio Manager, you’ll see all audio managing functions with a message on the top “Tap and hold on the logo above to launch the actual hide it pro app. This message will disappear next time you launch the app.” So as it was in the message, tap and hold the logo and the actual Hide It Pro app will appear.
Now you have the Hide It Pro setup on the screen. You have two options to lock. One is Pin based and other is Password based. I’ll be showing the Pin based.
Tap on the Pin based option, type the Pin code and save it.
Now you’ll be asked to enter a recovery email. You can skip this setup but it’s better to enter an email in case you forget your Pin.
Now Hide It Pro app will make its settings. After complete setting up, it’s done. Next time you’ll try to access the Hide It Pro, you’ll have to enter the Pin.

Hide Pictures and Videos from Android Gallery:

Go to galley and open the picture (or video) you want to hide (You can select multiple files). Tap on “Menu” and then “Share”. You’ll see the “Audio Manager” option, tap on it.
Now you’ll be directed to the usual Audio Manager. As explained before, tap and hold the logo and the actual Hide It Pro app will appear. Enter the Pin to access the app.
After entering the Pin correctly, you’ll be asked to create or select the folder. Tap on create “Create Folder”. And then name the folder and select whether you want it as a folder or album.
Now the picture (or video) you selected before is hidden. You can access the picture by usual procedure of accessing the Hide It Pro app. There’ll be different categories for different media files.

Hide Apps:

To hide apps, you need a rooted device. If your device is rooted, then you can hide apps from “Hide Apps” icon on the main screen of the Hide It Pro app. But if your device is not rooted then you cannot hide the apps. You’ll get this warning when you’ll tap on Hide Apps icon.

Hide Messages and Calls:

To hide messages and calls, you’ll have to download the SMS and Call Blocker Plug-in. When you’ll tap on “Messages” icon from the main screen of the app, you’ll be asked to get that plug-in.

How to get Google Music Beta Invite from outside US

I was craving to try for Google Music Beta since it’s launch but as it is only available for people of USA (why only USA?), all the time it irritated me with We’re sorry. Music Beta is currently only available in the United States. But then as you know “there is a will there is a way”, I managed to get an invite. All I did was to use the a US Proxy to request an invitation. I got my Google Music Beta invite in 3 days. Apparently once you get the invite, Google doesn’t bother from where your accessing it i.e. all you need to do is to use a US proxy and then once you get the invitation, it is yours to use it. To simplify the process in steps:

Use a Google proxy site. I used http://www.ultrafastproxy.com/
In this site, scroll down a bit to find a field with a Browse tag on it, enter music.google.com
It will open Google Music page under the proxy
If you have security features enable in the Google account, you might have to answer the security question to verify that this a legitimate login
Now here you request for an invitation for an invite
Wait for 3-4 day to process the invite request
Once you get it you can access it from anywhere across the globe

You can also download the Google Music Manager, which is available for Windows, Mac and recently for Linux, to upload your own music to its cloud storage. You can upload upto 20,000 songs. But make sure that the music which your are uploading is legal. Uploading illegally downloaded music files will be deleted from the storage. One more thing once you get the invite, you can also send two invites to your friend.

How to download various music links at once using DAP?

Most of the music download websites provides separate links for all the songs of the same album. You have to download them one by one by right clicking and choosing save target as option. This is very tedious and tiresome.

An alternate and very relieving way to download several music links at the same time is by using Download Accelerator Plus (DAP). You can download the free version of DAP here It also increases the download speed by downloading from several links at the same time. Download and install DAP.

Here I am at songs.pk. And as you can see there are several links for downloading.

Now to download all the links, right click somewhere on the page.
Choose the option “Download all with DAP“.
Now look for the ones which start from “http://link….” if you want click on “verify” to see the size of the file underneath the link.
Click on “download now“.
All the files will be start to download simultaneously in your default download folder.
