How to hack Facebook status in the most easy way

Hi folks,

Hacking is always a way to show off your geeky skill. And hacking Facebook and other social media sites are always interesting because of the loopholes in their security features. Since we interact with people on social media sites it gives us access to some of the information which can be used in playing a nice hack-prank against them.

In this tutorial we will see how can we hack Facebook status of a friend (enemy, if you are vengeful :P). The tutorial is based on a Facebook mobile feature where one can use text message to update his/her facebook status. Since Facebook has  a huge number of mobile users there is high possibility that our target person (we will refer the person as victim hereafter) has this feature enabled.

Lets see what do we need in order to hack someone’s  Facebook status:

  1. Access to victim’s phone number.
  2. Victim must have activated text messaging in his mobile settings. (Unfortunately there is no way to find out beforehand whether this feature has been enabled or not)
  3. Access to a website that sends fake sms from any number (We will see it later in the tutorial)
  4. Country specific access code for Facebook mobile (We will see it later in the tutorial)

Step 1:

Assuming that you have victim’s cell phone number and the victims has text messaging activated on his phone, we would proceed to the next step of using  a site that allows to send fake sms from any number. The idea is that we would use this site to send a sms to facebook pretending to be from victim’s number.

There are several websites that can be used for this purpose. I’ll list a couple of those here:

I would suggest to use SMSGlobal which provides 25 free messages for just signing up. All you have to do is to create an account on it. A nice tutorial showing how to use GlobalSMS can be found here.

Step 2:

Now, when we have an account on SMS Global, we need to know the country specific code (its uses will be explained in the next step). Select the code depending upon which country the victim’s cellphone belongs to:

  • United Arab Emitrates: 2474
  • Angola: 42665
  • Argentina: 325
  • Austria: 66468132665
  • Azerbaijan: 3223
  • Bangladesh: 3232
  • Bahrain: 94455
  • Czech Republic: 9996209
  • Algeria: 205
  • Germany: 2665
  • Egypt: 3265
  • Fiji: 3223
  • Guyana: 1559
  • Honduras: 3223
  • Ireland: 51325
  • India: 919232232665
  • Iraq: 1430
  • Italy: 3399932665
  • Jordan: 90906
  • Kenya: 8140
  • Republic of Korea: 2665
  • Kazakhstan: 404
  • Lebanon: 1191
  • Lithuania: 1556
  • Morocco: 600
  • Montenegro: 14777
  • Madagascar: 34665
  • Mauritius: 8466
  • Nigeria: 631
  • Nicaragua: 32740
  • New Zealand: 3223
  • Panama: 4444
  • Poland: 2665
  • Paraguay: 325
  • Qatar: 92255
  • Rwanda: 7777
  • Saudi Arabia: 710700
  • Sudan: 32665
  • Sweden: 3900
  • Slovenia: 3265
  • Thailand: 42665
  • Trinidad and Tobago: 42665
  • South Africa: 13999

If desired country is not listed then the activation code would be: 32665

(To verify whether or not these codes valid, check with )

Step 3:

Now since we have collected our resources, lets move to nail our victim.

  • Login to SMSGlobal
  • Select Send SMS to Number from left sidebar
  • In the Send SMS To field fill the country specific code chosen from Step 2
  • In the Sender ID From field use the victim’s phone number
  • Reply to should be checked on Sender ID
  • In the Message field write a funny (sad, cruel, warning whatever) message. This message will be used as the Facebook status of the victim.
  • If you are successful till here, Your target is down.

How to enable subscribe fature on Facebook

Facebook has launched Subscribe feature which is quite similar to Twitter’s “follow”. If you subscribe to someone, you can get their public posts in your feed. But the other person need not to follow you. It obviates the need of being friends on Facebook. This feature is very helpful for people who are popular and gets 100s of friend requests. All of your friends will be automatically subscribed to your feed and you to their.

The “subscribe” feature is not default. Which means you have to specify Facebook that you want to enable other people to subscribe to your feeds. Lets see how to do that.

Log in to your Facebook account.

Go to this link:

Now on this page you can see the subscribe button. Click on it. It will give you the option of managing your feeds’ visibilities as well. The screenshot might help you:

Hope you are now able to get few subscribers. Enjoy :)

How to get the URL or Link of a Facebook post or status

Sometimes you may need to provide the URL/link of a Facebook post or status for eg. in case you are trying to win a contest or trying to attract more people to a Facebook post. Though Facebook has recently added a “Share” option for all the Facebook post but it still doesn’t serve the purpose in the case you need the to share the Post in a comment or outside Facebook environment. In this post I’ll show you how to get the URL of a Facebook post.

All you have to do is to go to post and click on the “Date-Time” of the post. Something like this:

Clicking on this “Date-Time” element will take you to the post in a new tab. And from there you can simply copy past the URL of the post. Something like this:

Now you can share the post anywhere with the help of the URL. By the way the same method can be used in Google Plus as well.

Questions and suggestions are welcomed.

How to get the new Facebook chat with video calling

Here is the response of Facebook to Google+. Skype integration into Facebook chat to provide video calling to users.  News was circulating that Facebook is about to launch something “awesome” and it comes exactly one week after the limited release of Google+. Facebook was missing the video call feature for a long time and Skype has a proven technology and experience. The integration seems to be a good add-on for Facebook. From another point of view it can also be seen as Microsoft’s rivalry with Google (Microsoft is the new owner of  Skype and a shareholder in Facebook). News apart, here is how you can get the latest video calling chat on Facebook:

  • Log in to your facebook account
  • Go to
  • Click on Get Started (Facebook can take you from here in steps but still I’ll write it), It will ask you to select a friend to video chat
  • Click on a friend, the chat window opens up
  • On the top of the chat window, there is the known video sign  , click it
  • It will ask you “Set up video calling?”
  • Click on Set Up
  • It will ask you to download a plugin exe file (on Windows)
  • Save the file, Run the file
  • Enjoy your video calling

If your friend does not have video calling installed on his/her computer you have an option of leaving a video message. Cool na?

Question, suggestions and a word of thanks is always welcome. Enjoy :)

How to invite other people/friends on Google+ (Google Plus)

So you got the much awaited invitation of + (If not, click here) and you really enjoy exploring it. While you are enjoying it, your friends are up your “some part of body” :) to get the invite from you and you virtually have no clues how to do that. Here is what I suggest. Get all the E-Mail address (you want to invite on Google+) in your Gmail contacts. You can do the same with Facebook as well. Get all your Facebook contacts in CSV format. No clues what I am saying? Take a look here: Download contacts from Facebook.

Now when you have all the E-Mails in your Gmail contacts list you are ready to take off.

  • Login in to Google plus.
  • Go to circles
  • Click on Find and Invite
  • Click on More Actions drop down and choose Select All
  • Now when all are selected, drag and drop them into new circle

Now when all your contacts are in a circle (you might want to name this circle say My Group) you are ready to please you friends with the Google invite. All you have to do now is:

  • Go on your home page in Google+
  • In the stream box, which is written as Share what’s new (Similar to Facebook status), set your status
  • When you write something in there it gives an option of sharing it with the circles you have (in our case My Group)
  • It also says that EMail people not using Google+, tick yes there
  • Now when you click share, the people who are not on Google+ will be notified about it by E-Mail and from that email they can join Google+

I hope it helped you. As always, questions, suggestions and a word of thanks is welcomed.

[update] News: Strange behavior of Facebook No feeds No Side Bars

While the cyber world abuzz with Google+ hype, Facebook is having some troubles. I can witness some strange behaviour of Facebook (Is it a worldwide outage?) at the present moment (Its 8:05 PM CET). These are the things which I notice currently:

  • Very few feeds 3-4 maximum
  • Hardly any Most Recent Feeds
  • I cannot see new notifications
  • Cannot go into the message box

In short Facebook is dead (for few moments :) ). I hope it will be back to normal soon.  You can have a look at my profile which looks so dull.

Do provide your view on it. Enjoy :)

Update:

Seems like it was a maintenance outage. Facebook is back to normal. :)
